Who's the target audience for the Spider-Woman comic? Because if you're trying to get her fans to buy the comic, you're really setting it up to fail by having Land do the art for it. The majority of women will not buy a comic with art that is not only stolen from other artists by tracing, but also traced from pornography.

The target audience for SPIDER-WOMAN is human beings who have the cover price in their pockets.

I am a guy, and Jessica Drew is my favorite female hero. I am so excited to see that Jess will finally have a solo series again, but Greg Land on art is definitely not a good thing to me. Having read a ton of stories with his work in the past, the most troubling part is that all of his women look so sexualized and like porn stars most of the time with provocative poses and heavy makeup. I will be buying this book to support Jessica Drew and hope her series can last, but I am doing it reluctantly in a way. I am disappointed that Marvel picked an artist like Land to use for a solo female series where the main character is such a great character and deserving of an artist who can portray her as a human being and not a walking sex fantasy.
